About the Instructor

With over 20 years of experience in firearms training and a lifetime of dedication to service, Dexter brings a wealth of expertise and professionalism to Delta Group Consulting LLC.

A retired U.S. Navy veteran, Dexter served with distinction as an Aviation Ordnanceman and a United States Navy Career Recruiter. Following retirement from the Navy in 2013, he continued his commitment to public safety as a police officer with the Elizabeth City Police Department. During his law enforcement career, he achieved the rank of Detective, worked on the Drug Task Force, the department's SWAT Team, and served on the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

In addition to his hands-on experience, Dexter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Criminal Behavior from Strayer University. He is certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the North Carolina Department of Justice, with over 22 years of teaching concealed carry courses across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia.
